COVID-19 Practice Update
As the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to evolve, SEQ Dental Specialist would like to share with you some important information about the steps we are taking to minimize the risk of exposure to our patients, staff, visitors and the greater community.
The health and wellbeing of all is our priority and we are closely following advice from the Department of Health, which publishes information and updates on its website at www.health.gov.au.
We ask all patients before entering our practice and when booking appointment to notify us if:
Anyone who has returned from a country or region that is at high or moderate risk for coronavirus should immediately self-isolate for 14 days.
Anyone who comes into contact with a person with suspected or confirmed coronavirus should immediately self-isolate for 14 days.
Anyone who is unwell or showing symptoms of illness should seek medical advice.
If any of these applies to you, we ask you to ponstpone your appointment for 14 days.
As the health authorities advise, the best way to protect against transmission of COVID-19 or other infectious diseases, is good hand and respiratory hygiene practices:
Wash hands with soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitiser. We ask all patients to please wash your hands before entering our practice and use the alcohol gel provided on the fron t desk on arrival and departure.
Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or flexed elbow when coughing or sneezing and dispose of tissues in a bin immediately after use, followed by handwashing and/or sanitisation.
Avoid contact with anyone who has symptoms such as fever, a cough, sore throat, fatigue and shortness of breath.
Globally the COVID-19 situation and the advice from the Australian and Queensland Governments is changing rapidly. We want to reassure you that we are closely following all published advice and ensuring it is implemented across all our practices.
